Sauti Ya Wanawake Pwani supports women’s and girls’ active participation and the incorporation of their perspectives at all levels of decision-making. Empowered women to vie for political seats – Case of Likoni – The Member of Parliament is a woman, the Chief, and Assistant Chief are women and the Village elder is a woman, also former MCA Mwakirunge was a woman and was a sauti member. Women occupy leadership positions in the community
